Robin's 3D Pop Out Quilt was started during the summer of 2001 and completed November 30 2001. Robin gave me her wish list of what images she wanted on it, a bag of fabric, and some 3d objects that she picked up especially for the project. I was challenged to use the fabric and objects just as she wished and incorporate them with my own ideas. She was very kind to give me the freedom to not use anything that would not work out or look good to me but I made it a point to use and make everything look good. Robin was very happy with her quilt and that made me very happy. She and her sister Shelly mentioned that the block with the fence and button garden reminded them of their mother. I was very curious and asked how and they both said it was something about the sun up in the corner. I was really happy to hear that and amazed. For me it was the cherry on top. I am very appreciative to Robin for allowing me the opportunity to make this wallhanging for her to enjoy.
